'07 GA OL Nick Claytor (Georgia Tech signee)

ok, enough with the sarcasm...let's all just relax and watch this thing play out. I have split off the rest of the posts and moved them to the holding cell. this kid is not AJ Wallace and the situation is entirely different. using him or any other kid as a frame of reference for Nick is not a good idea. no two recruiting kids, and therefore no two recruiting situations are exactly the same. the fact is that OSU is sitting very well with Claytor, but a lot can happen between now and NLOID, so let's just relax and let this kid enjoy the process. I am very familiar with the info that HotMic is trying to subtlely pass along to temper everyone's concerns about Auburn, Georgia Tech or any other school that might be recruiting Nick. But my main concern is that I would not want to think that Nick might come onto BP (as many recruits are known to do) and see us talking about mamas, myspace or girlfriends in his thread.

Two of Indiana's best will visit Tech
The Midwestern recruiting theme will continue at Tech's camp Saturday as the Jackets expect to host highly touted safety Jerimy Finch and running back Darren Evans, teammates at Warren Central (Indianapolis) High, Indiana's three-time defending class 5A state champion.
Some reports say Finch has made a "soft" verbal commitment to Michigan.
Detroit Dunbar cornerback/wide receiver Cedric Everson also is expected to visit today, along with Gainesville offensive lineman Nick Claytor, Dawson County defensive lineman Logan Walls and Camden County safety/wideout Willie White.
Claytor, a 6-foot-6, 312-pounder whose father, Truman, was on Kentucky's 1978 national championship basketball team, recently went to a camp at Ohio State.

Someone posted that Shurburtt said something will happen with Claytor soon. I'm guessing a commitment and I don't have premium but the post is up on Rivals main message board. Could we possibly have another commitment today or soon?

He indicated that the commitment may not happen today. However, it was insinuated that osu was possibly running 3rd behind fsu and GT, with GT being the strong frontrunner.
