'07 GA OL Nick Claytor (Georgia Tech signee)

FWIW I still haven't been told that much has changed with Claytor recently. I know their was a ruckus but perhaps Claytor was just talking up GT and a rumor got started. I still feel fairly confident with Claytor.

Rivals $ (GT site)

7/14

Nick's top 5 are tOSU, Georgia Tech, Auburn, LSU, and Florida St. He says that distance is not a factor with tOSU because of all of his family up here, but the climate could be because he's been in the south for awhile. Nick makes a specific mention that tOSU is the only school that has his major (sports psychology). He plans to announce his decision in September.

This is not the first time he has mentioned that. I don't know how much more of a hint he can drop as to where he'll be going to college, unless he's comfortable with changing his major.

but just how many high school students DO know exactly what they want to study at college? even if they claim they do, very few of them ACTUALLY pull it through.

i share your sentiment. i think the buckeyes are looking great at the chance of landing claytor. personally i am excited and HOPE that nick will ultimately sign that LOI with ":osu: " on the title.

:osu:

osu.edu ROCKS!!!

You'd be surprised at how many do. Nick has mentioned his major more than once, so that tells me that he's pretty sure that's what he wants...

it's funny that the GT article was pro osu and the osu article was pro gt.

the folks at bsb are lining up on the ledges hardcore. someone even called him a sissy for being afraid of the cold. that's what happens when your insiders are clueless to what's really going on.

Choosing a college to spend 4 or 5 years at is tough. Claytor also has to choose which part of his family he is going to live closest to/see the most. Mom and sis or dad and that whole side. Gotta be a tough decision.

Reading those articles, u get a sense that his mother and brother are very important in his life and will play a huge factor in his decision... The climate thing sounds like something the Gtech coaches probably brought to his attention... that doesnt worry me much... but the mom and bro thing definately does..

RB07, You and me seem to be the only ones that feel REAL confident judging by his appearence on the Radio Hour. From that interview it seemed like he was already enrolled at OSU. I know hes frequenting the campus of GT alot recently, but I think if we can get him up here for an offical, and hes ours.
