Earned all-city, all-state and all-metro accolades as a junior. Also a top track performer and has personal bests of 10.49 in the 100 meters, 21.2 in the 200 meters and 48.3 in the 400 meters.

2005 Defensive Stats: 55 tackles, 5 sacks, 7 INTs

Interested in Ohio State, Notre Dame, LSU, USC and Michigan. Indiana, Iowa, Eastern Michigan, Ohio and Northern Iowa have offered.

From the Michigan site...Cedric is expecting an offer from OSU in the next week or so. Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame and Georgia haev also offered, and Michigan is supposedly going to be next. He currently favors Indiana, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Notre Dame.

There are alot of question about how good he really is. Also alot of questions about how fast he really is. That 10.49-100m time he was throwing around proved to be false. He also ran a 4.7-40 at the Nike camp last year.

I know one thing is for sure, no way he has 38 offers right now.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I hate to discredit a kid, but I have to raise a red flag when a kid from Michigan doesnt have offers from Michigan and tOSU and he wants to claim 38 offers and he spoutin out big name schools. he also weighs 154 lbs.

Dionte Allen nor Roanld Johnson have 38 offers. They probably don't even have 38 offers combined. If they do it's + or - a few. You think Everson has that many alone? I don't. I do know that he and his father are kind of fudging things a bit in regards to the media. Like the 38 offers, the 10.49-100m or the 4.25-40 he runs. My guess is he has a couple offers from the likes of Indiana or Illinois and that he's getting letters or school questionnaires from all of these schools (like a USC or Miami FL) and he's misconstruing them as actual offers. Either that or he's just flat out lying.

Cedric has offers from tOSU, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Iowa, Purdue, UCLA, USC, Purdue, North Carolina, and Washington. He is visiting UCLA and USC this month and plans on having a decision sometime in June. The major players in his recruiting right now are tOSU, Penn State, UCLA, USC, and Georgia Tech.

As a junior, Everson had 1,610 all-purpose yards, scoring 18 touchdowns on the season. Cedric had 90 tackles and 12 interceptions on the defensive side of the ball. Seven interceptions were returned for touchdowns, four of the touchdowns were from 98, 92, 76 and 78 yards.

Pretty impressive stats, and he sounds like a very good athlete. I think he's a much better player than people would originally have given him credit for. He's definitely a legit guy, and I don't doubt his offer from Ohio State.

Those stats are false. Hate to piss on Everson's parade, but the Detroit PSL is notorious for coaches inflating their players measurables, stats, and ability, and like you said the competition is pretty much a joke. Everson didn't even have 7 interceptions, let alone 7 returned for touchdowns. I highly doubt he's got an offer from Ohio State, because he doesn't have one from Michigan or Michigan State, and Michigan State offers kids in Michigan that even the directional schools won't offer.

He has offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Florida, FSU, Miami (FL), USC, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, Purdue, UCLA, North Carolina, Ohio State and Washington.
