At 6'2, 305 pounds, Chris Anzevino, a recent transfer from Youngstown Boardman, will look to fill the void left by Tony Reed, who started at defensive tackle for three years for the Raiders (as a freshman in 2002, he also started in the state championship game against Cincinnati Elder). Those are big shoes to fill, but Anzevino, a Second Team All Federal League selection in 2005, has already proven that he can be a force on the defensive front. He looked good at camps at Youngstown State, Kent State, and Ohio University, where he did an impressive 23 reps of 225 on the bench. He also plans to camp at both Akron and Cincinnati in July. Cincinnati and Marshall are among those that are currently showing heavy interest in Anzevino, who is also expected to see playing time on the offensive line this season. With his size and strength, if he plays to his potential, he will be signing his name on the dotted line on National Letter of Intent Day in February.

After a successful college career at Kent State, Anzevino impressed at his pro day by doing 36 reps of 225, running a 5.1 40, a 4.6 shuttle, and a 31.5 inch vertical! All of the above would have been top 5 performances at the NFL Combine for offensive linemen!
