From Bucknuts...Joey is getting mail from all the Big 10 schools. He wants to verbal very early.

I saw him play a few times last year and will see him again next year as I grew up in UA and still live nearby. The games I saw he was used primarily as a rush end/linebacker but I think he has the frame to end up as a DT in college. He could even end up as a David Patterson-type player...able to play both inside and on the edge. That seems to be the kind of DL recruit that this staff favors.

From the November 2005 Ohio High:

Duane Long said:
Upper Arlington defensive lineman Joey D'Andrea dominated a scrimmage to such an extent that he was taken off the field so the other team could run some plays. He made seven tackles in a row on one sequence. He is playing as a stand-up defensive end. I think defensive end will be his college position but he could slide down. He is a relentless, nasty piece of work that refuses to stay blocked.

I thought they were thinking that Oglesby was coing to be committing soon after NLOI day. If it's not him, then I'm thinking it's going to be B Martin?

wrong and wrong...although I really can't say anymore at this point anyways without compromising the situation.

and yes, I believe D'Andrea is a Buckeye lean if anything...
