Michigan, Xavier, Dayton, Miami-Ohio, Illinois, Penn State and Kentucky are showing the most interest. Jackson's coach says that Bob Huggins is also interested in Dante. Jackson finished his junior year averaging 28.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists. Possible decision could be made in the spring.

Jackson's coach says that Bob Huggins is also interested in Dante.

Does this statement seem absurd to anyone else? Kids are supposed to be directed to pick a school based on acedmics, how they fit in with the school, etc. They are specifically pursuaded not to pick a school based on a coach, because you never know what will happen with the coach. Obviously, there has to be chemistry between player & coach, but to try and recruit a kid before you have a job or know where you'll be coaching seems counter to the idea of "student athlete".

Michigan, Dayton and Xavier are his top three schools at this point. Miami (Ohio), Xavier, Michigan and Dayton have offered. Dante says he would listen to Coach Huggins if he called.

Note: I understand tOSU wants to see Jackson and how he plays this summer but with the recent decision by Rakim Sanders to eliminate tOSU, our 2 guard targets for the 2007 class are fading.....

I think it is time to get a football thread started on him. He decides to go football he would easily be the top reciever in the state, or he could play on defense where he brings the wood. He is just destroying people.

Him bringing that 6'5'' height and what seems to be nice size would be awesome on the football field. The last catch where he goes up for the hail mary in between like 3 or 4 guys was a thing of beauty.

Maybe football is his ticket to tOSU. Then he could walk on for the bball team.
