'07 OH WR Kyle Jefferson (Wisconsin signee)

Rivals $

From the Michigan State site...Kyle is interested in MSU again now that Coach Dantonio is there.

Make sure you read the update at the bottom of the 6th page as well...what a joke.

Kyle actually lives down the street from me.. So after he comes home from Track practice and the trainer I will try and find out more info from him.. But I know Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin would love for him to fall in their lap.. Remember this guy runs a sub 46 in the 400 and state runner up to you know who (Saine).. Also the 400 will be the race you wanna see if you are goin to state (Track State Championship).... Kyle and Saine.. So I never seen Kyle or heard of him running the 40.. but Im guessing 4.3-low 4.4 speed..

Yes they have what are you talkin about.. I ran track for Glenville while Ted was there and I believe Saine ran 46 in the prelims at state.. He was worn out from all the races.. Also at the Wayne Warrior relays Ted ran 46.8 and lost to Morgan Trent (46.6).. But Kyle has run 46 a few times.. The state record is 45 I believe.. and Chris Nelloms has the all time state record..

Good for Kyle...It looks like Wisky is trying to get them Glenville guys that we pass on. They are going to have a nice little set of receivers with Jefferson and Daven Jones the next couple years...

Nice "little" set of receivers. Thanks? It seems a little condescending. Wisconsin also got Nick Toon, who is now a 4 star player per rivals, and their 22nd overall receiver. I think he would have gotten several major offers had he not committed so early to UW. I'm very high on Toon and Daven Jones. Gilreath was supposedly the best receiver our position coach ever recruited, according to him. Lance Kendricks was a 4-star receiver who Wisconsin signed last year. And Maurice Moore is a blazer who I'm very high on. It's more than a nice little set of receivers. It's a good group for anybody I think. But I'm sure if it's a good group because of Jefferson. I watched a Glenville game this year and he was virtually invisible. He has all the measurables, but I'm not sure if I'm high on him as a receiver, or player period. I think he might end up on defense. Wisconsin has a good group of receivers in this class, and overall very good class, with stars (Clay, Oglesby), and very good players (Toon, Jones, Peake, Henry, Landingham, Rouse, and probably Mo Harris), CB Goins is a good sleeper, but the class is thin on both lines, and void at long term QB (got Evridge for short term). That's what is going on with Wisconsin recruiting right now.

That pretty much sums it up - a project who could be a real steal if he can translate his athleticism into production on the football field.

BTW, I don't think that CBF40 was being condescending - it's not really his style. Now, if I had said it that way.... :wink2:
