Johnny will probably be one of the top players next year in Ohio. He returned 9, NINE, punts for TD's and will look to get his first chance at offense this coming year. Ohio State most likly has the lead right now for his services, as he is close with Antonio Pittman and speaks with him regularly. Notre Dame and scUM look to be the other early contenders.

This is a player who is pretty raw but has so much athletic ability. He is a great kick returner and I think he can do great at WR just on athletic ability. Once he gets a feel for the position, look out.

FWIW, his 40 time was said to be under 4.5 as a sophomore. I think it's safe to say he's going to be a very fast receiver, and thats not to mention he could grow some more still.

Definitely will be a top 2008 prospect....

The difference in the game was that Buchtel made big plays. Along with Campbell and Wolfe making things happen, receiver, kick returner and defensive back Johnny Adams added yet another scoring dimension.

Adams caught a 52-yard touchdown reception with 10:10 left in the third quarter, giving Buchtel a 41-7 lead.

It would be nice if in the first post on the thread that includes their measurables, it also had their academic standing in there too. It could say:

Academics: Concern; not a concern; could be a problem; unknown

I think that would give everyone a better idea if they should be getting excited about a player. Evey year there are 3 or 4 guys that would be Buckeyes, but aren't getting it done in the classroom. People get on the sites and hype them up and there is really no mention that academics may be a conern until the begining ot the senior year.If Morgan Williams, Jeremiah, and Dewey Elliot were good students, they would be Buckeyes.

This is in no way to say that Adams is not a good student and I am not trying to highjack this thread. Just a thought as I look at the profile of a guy that could be a great player for the Buckeyes someday.

We always post GPA's and test scores, when they are reported by the recruits. Even when grades/scores are not reported, we try to give an idea of whether academics will be an issue.

With respect to Johnny... We don't know his scores, and we don't care to speculate at this point.
