Sanders Knows Of Four Official Visits

By Phil Kornblut
OL Zebrie Sanders (6-6 273) of Clayton, OH said he is basically set on four of his official visits this fall. He will visit Clemson Labor Day weekend for the Florida State game. He is planning to visit Georgia for the Auburn game and, and he will take an official visit to Florida. And he said he will set up a date with Southern Cal if the Trojans offer. "I'm starting to narrow it down to some schools and see where I want to go on official visits and where I can see myself playing for four years," Sanders said. "I'm looking hard at Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, Stanford, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Florida State. I'm still looking for some people to offer like Southern Cal, and I'm still looking at Ohio State. I'll narrow it down in June and July." Sanders said his only camp this summer will be Southern Cal, and while he's on the West Coast he might visit Stanford.

Geez...LSU really wants into Ohio (though they have put out a TON of offers elsewhere as well).
I don't imagine that they are any different than any other Big name school.
Ohio is loaded with talent, this year especially, so it doesn't surprise me in the least.

Sanders On The West Coast

By Phil Kornblut
OL Zebrie Sanders (6-6 273) of Clayton, OH is in Los Angeles where he will participate in a camp at Southern Cal Thursday and Friday. While in LA, Sanders visited UCLA and met with the school's athletic director, the head football coach and several assistants. "UCLA is now very interested," Sanders said. "They said they will probably offer after they see my tape." Sanders said this Southern Cal camp will be his only camp stop. He has been invited by Florida to their Friday Night Lights camp and he said he might go to that. He is set with Clemson for an official visit for the Florida State game, and he said he will try to get to a game this season at USC. Sanders has expanded his list of favorites to include Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Arkansas, Florida State, Southern Cal and UCLA. There is no individual leader.

I think it's safe to say you can cross USC off Sanders' list. 'SC just landed the other 5* in-state offensive tackle in Tyron Smith. Smith is rated by Rivals as the #2 player in the state of Cali. Hard to see Zerbie going to USC now with them already having 3 OT's committed and two of them being 5*'s and the #2 and #3 players in the state respectively.

This brings USC 5* commit total to 3 and we aren't even out of June.

Sanders has decided to choose his college by the middle of this fall and announce after the season, but until then he has plenty of things to consider.

"I'm thinking about it all the time, different colleges, what my future could be," Sanders said. "But it's not negative. I don't let it bug me. I'll think about Florida one day and Georgia another day, then UCLA."

Sanders Ready For Clemson Visit

By Phil Kornblut
OL Zebrie Sanders (6-6 273) of Clayton, OH will make his first official visit this weekend when he comes to Clemson for the Tigers' Labor Day night game against Florida State. Sanders has a game himself Sunday. Afterwards, he and his parents and to sisters will head for Clemson. "I want to see how big their atmosphere is one gameday," Sanders said. "I want to see how comfortable I am with the coaches on gameday. I'm also interested in the academics. I think they (Clemson) are going to do well and I'm going to enjoy it." Sanders also is scheduled to visit Florida September 14th and Georgia November 10th. He will also set a visit with UCLA. Michigan also is a factor but he won't take an official visit there because he's been to Ann Arbor seven times already and will take in several games this season. Sanders said USC, LSU and OKlahoma State are possible for his final official visit. His three favorites right now are Florida, Georgia and UCLA.

Sanders Reworks Visits

By Phil Kornblut
OL Zebrie Sanders (6-6 273) of Clayton, OH was scheduled for an official visit to Clemson this past weekend but didn't make, and now he's not sure he'll visit the Tigers. Sanders had a game on Sunday and his father felt it best his son not try to cram in a visit early in the week. "He really needed to be at practice yesterday (Monday) and today," Mr. Sanders said. "He feels he needs to be here to show leadership to the guys." Sanders has moved up his official visit to Georgia to the weekend when the Bulldogs play host to USC. His mother, a UGA graduate, will join him. Sanders will visit Florida September 14th. He said he will set a date with UCLA and he would like to visit LSU. And he might work in a visit to USC. "I've told him how much the university has changed and how they have nice facilities," Mr. Sanders said. The younger Sanders does not have a favorite among his final schools.
