6'0, 195 pounds
Warren G. Harding High School
Class of 2009

(currently, no Scout or Rivals profile is available)

While injuries limited his production in 2008, Joe Threats responded by having a great offseason in preparation for his senior year. Hitting the weight room hard got him bigger & stronger while his efforts in track & field benefited not only himself, but his entire school as he was a member of WGH's 4x100 relay team (along with D.J. Williamson, Aunre Davis, & Jarrale Butts) that finished third at the state meet in Columbus this past June.

On the football field, Threats will be used at tailback, wide receiver, cornerback, and punt/kickoff returner. In WGH's 7 on 7's this past month, he proved that he has the ability to gain big yards without being touched, including on screens. Now that he has the pads on, he is proving that he can lay the wood as well.

This will be a very interesting saga to follow. Ohio State already has their class of 2009 near full capacity, and whoever else they may insert is more than likely already on their radar. Nevertheless, with his size & speed, a breakout season could land Threats on somebody's campus next season.

He is a short film from Threats' sophomore season.
