D.J. picked up offers from West Virginia, Cincinnati and Vanderbilt. He is very interested in WVU and says Indiana and tOSU are tied for the lead.

According to Dave Berk on the IU Scout Forums, Hunter's coach pushed him to check out Indiana which explains the interest there. Hunter's coach, however, is now former. If the staff does a good job on Hunter I would expect him to commit without the birdie in his ear.

From Peegs.com & Inside Indiana....West Virginia, Nebraska & Marshall have offered. Article says that D.J. has backed off his claims that Indiana & Ohio State are his favorite schools (not quoted however).

Now says that he is backing off of having Ohio State & Indiana at the top of his list and is now saying that everyone is even. Plans on making some visits this summer and says Ohio State will definitely get a visit.

Since the cat is out of the bag in another thread and no one has noticed that I changed this thread title long ago, there is speculation that Hunter does not have an actual written offer from OSU. I cannot confirm or deny that as I have not spoken to Hunter, but I have spoken to insiders from two different teams that think there is some confusion as to whether an actual offer from OSU has been tendered or not.

Very surprising, IMO, unless he has grade issues or something. I think his film is as impressive as any DB we're recruiting...

I'm with you on this, 40. Extraordinary talent, incredible physical specimen, great speed, etc. I don't get it! Offer.....no offer.

Does he even want to be a Buckeye? Yes, no? Are we at the top of his list? We were but now we're all even. Even with who? Indiana....are you kidding? A Middletown kid....? Something seems outta whack to me.

Word...DJ will be a Buckeye eventually imo and he is getting a ton of interest. There is some confusion but it will get straightened out eventually.
