Jackson to play for Raiders, Arnold

By JOHN VARGO Tribune Chronicle

The Warren G. Harding Raiders boys basketball team has been working out this summer at camps, AAU leagues and working out in the weight room.

Nothing new for Steve Arnold?s team.

The noticeable change for the Raiders is who is on the roster ? junior Desmar Jackson. Arnold confirmed Jackson is enrolled at Harding and playing with the team.

The 6-foot-4, 162 pound guard averaged 20.2 points last season at John F. Kennedy.

I watched him play against Harding last season.

Is he going to play football for Harding? They sure could use him.

I seem to remember his father was a great player at Harding. Was it Omar Provitt?

She's hard to look at dude.
Ahh, leave her alone... she's smaller than some of the cheerleaders at my high school... ugh.

Small private school scheerleaders in Florida <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Public school cheerleaders in Florida. I went to both, graduated from a private school, and almost transferred back after the first week because of the "talent" difference...

Anyways, back to Desmar we go.

Jackson had 13 points & 6 assists in a 83-45 victory over Massillon Washington.

WGH's next game is January 12 against Zanesville@ Ohio State?s Value City Arena. Tip off is set for 1:15 PM. Both teams are currently 9-0, but Zanesville has 2 more games to play before meeting WGH next Saturday.
