OK, serious question. How far do you guys think the Buckeyes need to go to secure a #1 seed? Obviously we would all like to see them win but what is the minimum needed to hold the #1 seed?

Personally, I think they need to win Friday and Saturday. If they lose a close one on Saturday it might be questionable. Then again, if they get to the finals and have to play Wiscy, that could decide who gets the #1 seed. Playing them on a neutral court would be the supreme rubber match.

They should already have one, imo... even if they get upset on Friday (losing to UM isn't worse than three ugly losses in 4 tries by UF). However, I could see UNC or UF getting that 4th seed over OSU if everyone (UCLA, KU, UW, etc) wins out. Memphis is not 1-seed material.

That would decide if Wisky gets a 1 seed... OSU would certainly have one locked up in that scenario.

I think one win, we're 90 to 95% sure to get a 1. Two wins and you can paint the endzones. Of course, if the ACC gets what it wants and gets 9 teams in, all bets are off, hell, they probably want two 1 seeds, 2 twos, and 2 threes.... :shake:

Quick correction... since we're talking basketball it's paint the baselines... :shake:
