Game Thread #1 Ohio State vs. #8 Wisconsin, 2019 B1G Championship Game (Lucas Oil Stadium Dec 7 8:00 PM Fox)

I expect a bit more scoring in this game, on both sides. Playing in a dome does that. After today I'm more concerned about the defense, but Wisconsin simply doesn't have the WRs and TEs that ttun had.

IMO, biggest factors will be:

1) Wade. I imagine since he almost went today he will be ok after another week. This will be huge when it comes to PA and end arounds that Wisky will do.

2) Will the staff use a 4-4 again and wait to see if Wisconsin has adjustments at hand? Hate to not employ something that worked so well, but you have to think their coaches will have counters ready to deal with it.

3) Pressure. Today, TTUN threw the kitchen sink at Young and hoped to win their other matchups. It worked, but was probably an aberration rather than the norm. Still, this will be one of Wisky's top priorities after being embarrassed earlier. Need to be ready with blitzes because Coan and his WRs are good enough to hurt the zone without pressure.

Offensively, there are things to work on, mainly the pressures that Wisconsin is going to send against Fields. But excluding the obvious health and turnovers, they'll be able to stick to their normal gameplan.

Wisky does one thing and they do it very well. Year in and year out the only variance is the quality of the QB. They recruit to their style, develop their 3 stars for that system and have had great success with the formula.

The problem with that approach is when you run into the kind of team that can take your one thing and defeat it.

Now what do you do?

Totally. This was a pretty cautious rundown from me. I don't like rematches, but this OSU defense is great at stopping the run when it's their focus.
