I think a lot of the Heisman talk deals with the fact that he has looked to be the offensive centerpiece for the team people have perceived to be the best team in the country. I feel like that person is in the race by default every year.

I think it's a reflection of how stupid Heisman polls are in the second week of the season. Who can actually put a player at the top of his "Heisman list" after seeing the guy play for a couple halfs of football? I blame the media, damnit!!! Hahaha!
