Big, strong offensive lineman who will need to keep his weight in-check. Has long arms with good extension and the ability to move his feet. Very good upper body strength but must work to stay in top physical shape and not take off plays. Hard worker who is sure to be one of Ohio's top prospects for the Class of 2010.

Here's a film clip of this kid.

Scout Ohio

Impressive. He collapses piles, is downright nasty when pulling, and boy is he huge. He looks nothing short of 300. He also shows some nice athletic ability on defense. I would be surprised if Miller didn't get an OSU offer, assuming he keeps his weight in check.

Been waiting on this one...Really like what I see...He moves better than most Olineman...Pulls well...Makes contact a little too high at times, but he is a beast and shows up with power and drive when he makes contact...Don't really think he is in the league of James and Norwell in terms of top lineman in the state, but I think he is a candidate for an offer for sure...

Might disagree with you there. I don't know if he has the potential of James, but I think he could be up there. I think James is a possible 5 star player depending on his developement, but I think Miller is a top 100 type guy if he watches his weight. I haven't seen Norwell at this point, only heard the hype. I saw Miller's movement as what made him special, which could be why the staff wants him to watch his weight. I like him at DT as well, which helps his cause with his versatility. I personally think he is a top 10 player in the state at this point. I would like to see him in person though, because those blocks only showed him mauling one guy. I'm curious to see if he stays busy.

Don't disagree with you...Just I see him as a guy like Linsley, Mewhort...Not a guy like Adams, Shugarts, Hall...

Right now I put James in the second category and from what I continue to hear about Norwell I would put him in that category as well...

Not a knock on Miller in anyway...The guys on the first list are good players...

Just watched his film..

Likes: Feet, good agility for a 300+ pounder, strength, shows natural ability to get out of the stance and pull

Dislikes: Doesnt use his hands well, doesnt extend the arms enough to really drive his man off the line and into the turf. HIs pancakes are the result of smaller guys goin down from the short little punch block he throws.. that wont work with bigger and faster players.

I havent seen tape on Norwell yet. But I have James as the #2 guy in the state based on who Ive seen so far.

I think Miller has a good shot for an offer though, and in my book, and of course it's really early, i have him a borderline, Top 10 Ohio, junior to be.

Got ya...still plenty of time for developing and I just hope Taylor keeps his weight in check, because he could be a good one. I agree that Miller won't be ranked above, and shouldn't be ranked above James or maybe Norwell. However, I don't think he is too far out of their league. So in other words, we probably agree for the most part

Do you have a Top 10 Ohio Junior list posted somewhere?

No, I'd still have Turner as #1.. as an OLB/LEO type.. I think some other kids have potential to be better prospects, but til somebody puts up the production like he has, I cant say he's not the #1 guy..

For the other dude, asking bout Top 10...

For me, the kids Im most impressed with so far are:

Jamel Turner OLB/LEO
Matt James OT
Spencer Ware ATH
Erick Howard RB
Jordan Hicks LB
Derrick Bryant DE
Christian Bryant S
Dwight Macon QB/ATH
Darryl Baldwin DL
ONeal Brown DE

I also love Caleb Watkins from Middletown, but I think I heard he's ineligible for his junior yr...

And I havent seen any tape of Norwell yet.. but i imagine he's a Top 10 type guy
