Just wondering what ever happened as we have heard nothing more on Barnett's recruitment. I don't have access to read the article, was it actually referring to Oklahoma State? Aside from the offer to Garrison Smith(not sure if recruited as DT or DE), it's been awfully quiet in regards to DT recruiting. I assume they are waiting to evaluate the next group of guys at camp to see who else might merit an offer.

It looks as if longtime Oklahoma State commitment Scout.com four star defensive tackle Calvin Barnett will indeed be signing with the Arkansas Razorbacks this morning at 11:00am. Barnett, who starred in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl was the most highly ranked recruit on the OSU list and will be the most highly ranked player on the UofA list should the switch really go down as planned.

Gundy signs two juco All-Americans

Oklahoma State, the nation's No. 3-ranked team, has secured national letters of intent from two junior college All-Americans, defensive tackle Calvin Barnett and tight end Blake Jackson, according to a release on the school's official site.

"We're excited to have Calvin and Blake join our program," Gundy said. "We have been after Calvin for years now and he brings some run-stopping and pass-rushing ability to our defensive line. We're excited about Blake's ability to present a mismatch for opposing defenses."

The Cowboys originally recruited Barnett out of Booker T. Washington High School (Tulsa, Okla.) but 6-foot-3, 300-pounder signed with Arkansas before arriving at Navarro Community College (Corsicana, Texas).
