I saw it a couple days ago on CSN from the Sciota game. Coffman had a something like a third and 25. Stoudt was pressured and rolled left. With two defenders chasing him it looked as if he would run and get what gain he could. Then he spotted a receiver 20 yds away and with the flick of a wrist he "pitched" the ball 20 yds downfield while on a dead run. I think the receiver was as shocked as anyone, though he did turn and pick up the first down. It was a very special play. Great instinct and confidence to even try it. Wonder what the coach had to say about it.

Saw a discussion on "sleepers" on ohiostate.scout.com ask the insiders forum. This guy is one of those. Leading D1 in several statistical catagories at Coffman. Never started a game until 7 weeks ago. I know OSU is all about Pryor but someone is going to land this "sleeper" and have themselves a hell of a QB. Too bad he never played last year. Big kid, huge arm, and runs the show on the field. Looks like he's been there forever and in the big games has made the big plays to lead comeback wins. Wonder who ends up with him.

I really don't feel he's as much of a "sleeper" as some may say. I was unaware that he has only started 7 games... but I know we've been hearing about him way before season. Who started at Coffman last year? Last name I remember was Jack Raferty and I thought he was a couple years back.

Zac was an excellent QB for Coffman but never took it to the next level. They were actually doing the Tressel thing working Stoudt in more and more in each game. Then he got hurt I believe and missed 4 or 5 weeks but did play in the last 2 games and the 3 play off games. To say Zac didn't make much of a splash is unfair. He took the team to the final 8 in Ohio, losing a heartbreaker to eventual state champion, Davidson. Good QB. Too bad he decided not to pursue a shot at college football. I believe he was 15-8 as the starter. 6-4 and 9-4.
