#11 Ohio State vs. #3 Houston, Sunday, March 24, 8:40PM, TNT

Round 2 of the Tom Herman tour. Does OSU play Texas next round?

I'll be eagerly awaiting the new Scores update.

Last year, Houston was a #6 seed and lost by 1 on a crazy buzzer-beater against #3 seed UM right after a Houston player missed two free throws. That loss was devastating to those guys, and several of the players are back again. Houston looked like a team on a mission vs Georgia St.

I was somewhat devastated by that game as well, watching scUM then go all the way to the title game.

Houston looked impressive beating Georgia State by 29, but let's not forget GSU lost to Creighton by 25 and to Liberty by 26.

Houston's previous game? A 12 point loss to the Juggalos.
I did watch that UC loss. Houston looked like zombies in their 3rd game in 3 days. They were stagnant and building a house of bricks on offense and defensively couldn't stop Cumberland from getting whatever he wanted. They had no energy and looked like they were mailing it in. I expect they will give a much better effort tonight. They did beat UC on the road like a week before that.

Houston has only lost 3 games this season, but overall their schedule had very few top notch opponents.

Yep, they won 2 of 3 vs UC. I'm somewhat encouraged by how the B1G has looked so far against other conferences, but Houston had TTUN beat and this isn't Sampson's first rodeo.

I feel similarly as I did about Iowa State. The Bucks could win but the odds are less than 50%. It worked out okay on Friday.

Houston does have shooters, depth and size. Davis and Brooks are both excellent from long range and can make contested shots, so they should be the focal point of OSU's defense. They do not have much in the way of NBA talent or 4-star recruits, so they are pretty much the ideal #3 seed to face. I'm not saying OSU will win, but they certainly shouldn't complain about the matchup.
