Andrew Norwell broke his leg too I believe in his senior year. Earlier in the year but lets hope Nicks recovery ends up like Andrews contributing as a true freshman at tOSU!

I don't know how long it takes to recover, but i would have to say odds say he doesn't play next year.

Former Buckeye WR Brian Hartline broke his leg in the first quarter of the first game of his senior year. Redshirted his freshman year, ended up leaving a year early for the league. Currently starting for the Miami Dolphins. Redshirting gave him the choice of continuing his career in S&G or letting him live out his dream.

Redshirting is so valuable for development with OL. With the injury, he ought to expect to redshirt wherever he ends up.

Davidson will visit Clemson in January

By Phil Kornblut
OL Nick Davidson of Eden Prairie, MN plans to take an official visit to Clemson in January his coach said Monday. Davidson has visited Stanford officially, and coach Mike Grant said Clemson, Oregon, Ohio State and Colorado will get his other official visits. "He will take all of his visits," Grant said. The coach said he has seen recruiters from Stanford and Colorado come thru his school to visit with Davidson who suffered a broken ankle late in the season and missed his team's final drive to the state championship. His coach said he's not aware of a favorite for Davidson.

Wad,

Would it be considered bad form, if Diddy were to ask about the level of contact with Master Davisdon, post UFM hire?

If the interest is there, I still hold out hope for Nick and Jeff parlay. Though that is a long shot given the OC postion has been filled.

Unless, there is a feeling that the vikings staff will be shown the door.

I'd think that would be best in the Meyer Staff thread. Leave Nick's thread to Nick?

Given that there has been no contact between the new staff and Nick, I would imagine there hasn't been any contact between the new staff and his father...just my take on things though.
