#12 Ohio State 79 , #16 Michigan State 68 (Final)

Is it true that we haven't won there since 1992? If thats true then that will be a long streak to try and break. Hopefully with this many seniors on our team we will be able to pull it out but going on the road, espcially to this place, doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence.

GO BUCKS!

Well, 20-4 looks really good, and a win at MSU looks good to the tournament commitee. Heck, a win at MSU might lock us into a #2 seed, considering how winnable the last 3 games are. Not to mention a loss might put us right out of the B10 race and a win would put us on the inside track to win.

It's driving me crazy that this game is one of the more important ones in the buckeye season, as it's probably one of our least winnable. Oh well, pass the tums...

This game can't get here soon enough. I'm not as concerned about the crowd as some others. We went into scUM and were unfazed by their rowdy "corn rage". Granted, Crisler's a smaller arena, but I don't think the crowd will play all that big of a part. Not to over-simplify, but if we get hot behind the arc, I think we win this one fairly easy. BIG if.

We gotta shoot the ball well, and Dials must play big and stay out there. Sylvester and Mayes are key as well, we need minutes from one if not both. The playbook seems to run better with Sylvester playing his minutes.!

Well, this game will be tough and I agree that we need Matt and Sylvester or at least Matt and we need Dials to be Terence! Harris also needs to do his bit.

We have the motive of revenge and the desire for a good NCAA seed. This team wants badly to tell that incoming class who they are and were, so to speak.

MSU only beat us at VCA because we shot nearly as badly as we did against Northwestern. If we sink those first few shots, then I think we roll. We are the better team and we can win this game. This can be legacy kind of stuff.

Roll on Buckeyes!

You win with defense. If we shut down their perimeter players, we have a chance. I wouldn't worry too much about Paul Davis. He'll get his points. Dials must stay out of foul trouble and put some fouls early on Davis.

I think we have to go down low early to establish Dials.

It's probably been stated numerous times in this thread, but we need to play a near perfect game to win this game. I think that we'll be successful if we pound the ball down low to Dials, rather than have Foster, Butler, Sylvester, and Lewis shooting from beyond the arc. It seems like too many times we've forgotten about Dials down the stretch, but then in games when he's been needed to step up, he seems to always get the job done.
My X-Factor for this game is Terrence Dials.

In my opinion, I think we need to play our best game defensively to get it done up there. MSU has been struggling shooting from the perimeter. Dials once again will be the key, he needs to be physical and stay away from silly fouls.

Simply the make or break game as far as the Big Ten. Their is a lot riding on this game in my opinion.
