I wonder if losing Bell will have any effect.. if I had to venture a guess, I'd have to say no as once you start to lighten interest on a recruit I'm sure it's hard to get back hot and heavy. That and I'm sure with the in state talent we kind find just as good of a way to use that schollie

It seems to be up in the air. It was reported that he was transferring to Pitt, but people that should be "in the know" (his dad and HS coach) knew nothing about him transferring, so it is a bit unclear what the situation is at the moment.

Either way, Rippy seems like too good of a prospect to just stop recruiting, regardless of the other linebackers on the roster. We will see.
