'13 OH WR Kevin Gladney (Nebraska Verbal)

His dad is pretty popular around Akron for his work with kids in the community, he was my peewee coach for a year and he kept tabs on me until I left college. He comes from an amazing family & he's going to make whatever program he chooses a better place off the field, just as much on the field.

Scout$--UA Combine: UM Leads for Gladney, but...

Kevin says he is a lifelong Ohio State fan but he would go to Michigan for financial and academic reasons. He says Michigan is his favorite due to the offer but he is an Ohio State fan.

What I hear

Kevin says he is a lifelong Buckeyes fan and if he doesn't get an offer From Ohio State will still get a free education and the opportunity to play B1G football. But as soon as the bucks offer he will accept and gladly woop Flinstones wide load for his four years of college ball. :slappy:

Gladney gets offer

Firestone junior wide receiver Kevin Gladney said he has a scholarship offer from Michigan.

?Every major school has come through ? Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, you name it, they have been through the school,? Firestone coach Tim Flossie said.

Gladney, who is 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds, said he is also getting interest from West Virginia and Purdue.

?Probably after next football season, I will be ready to make my decision,? Gladney said. ?My plan is to start college in January and play in spring football.?

The good people on GBW seem to be of the opinion they are in great shape with Kevin:

Recruiting Ohio kids that don't receive early Ohio State offers is 90% of their recruiting strategy these days (and has been for the past century outside of Rodriguez, bless his heart).

Can we all just assume that the hyenas up north feel confident when they aren't going head-to-head with us from now on and, most importantly, not link to their drivel in recruiting threads?
