With injuries piling up on UNC, FredOU might have a legit shot here...

If only someone can take a bat to Zeller and Hensen's knees.... :paranoid:

But like I said in another thread. I think Marshall should take the night off and rest that wrist of his. Would love to see a frosh PG with little playing time try to #1 defend Cooper and #2 get the ball past the timeline.

Or a hobbled Marshall trying to do the same thing as we do love slapping at the ball and one errant swipe at the ball hitting his wrist will not be good.

I'd like to think we have a chance... UNC is known to take nights off at the defensive end and if our shooters get hot and our defensive pressure causes 20+ turnovers we have a legit chance. (especially with all the Kansas fans in the building that will be rooting for us) Coop & Offutt will have to drive inside to draw fouls on their bigs.

But the realist in me is terrified of their half court offense. Zeller and Hensen can have a field day against our small front court. And when we crash in to double team them I can see Barnes getting good looks from 3 all day.

Totally agree with your post and I doubt very much if we will see Marshall. Even if the surgery does go well, Williams will rest him hoping that they can get by us without him. Their bigs will be way too much for OU's front line:(

If both Ohio and Ohio State make it to the Final Four, they'd play each other in one of the two semi-final games. An Ohio - Ohio State matchup would make John Beilein's head explode...

Heck, I think MY head would explode... and I am sure I would get banned sometime during the week leading up to that game. :paranoid:

Oh heck... I'll be drunk the whole week leading up to that game :drunks:

Call me crazy, but I like OU +10.5. UNC is likely without Marshall. USF was a team that had a size, strength, and athleticism advantage, and OU struggled with it for a half but got it going in the second. If they can hang with Carolina the first half, I think this game will get VERY interesting in the second.

I don't think it's crazy to think the Bobcats can keep it within 10.
