Oscar Smith coach Richard Morgan was recently asked, ?How many offers does Andrew Brown have?

Morgan chuckled and said, ?We don?t even count anymore.?

Brown, 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, has more than 30 offers but Morgan said he recently narrowed the list down to Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida, Clemson and Alabama. Brown is rated No. 4 nationally by 247Sports and No. 10 by MaxPreps.

Morgan said Brown, a defensive lineman, has several visits lined up this summer. He?s not sure when Brown will make a decision but ?it definitely won?t be during the season? because the Tigers will be focusing on a state title.

Re: Brown has been admittedly high on Virginia for quite some time and the in-state school was going to be tough to beat. "With UVa, they have some of the best academics in the country, and that's something that I wanted to stress from Day 1 of my recruitment," Brown said. "The value of a degree from Virginia is hard to beat. I also really like that my family could easily see me and I can get home if I needed to."

I can't get upset when Ohio State loses out on an "out of state" recruit that picks a school in his own state especially one that has very good academics.

Best of luck at UVa Mr. Brown.
