Not sure he should be written off just yet. For one thing Giddens keeps talking about playing 4 here - as do about all kids 6'8-6'11 these days ( want to play 4 instead of 5 ).

TM seems to still be active with inside players in the 2015 class. Recent articles seem to have tOSU looking at hosting a number of 2015 BIGS for official visits come Fall. Bryant and Moore. Maybe Thomas from TX. I wouldn't rule Dickerson out either as he was interested enough to have visited here on his own dime twice in 2013 before securing an offer.

I too thought Giddens verbal might slow down the pursuit of 2015 BIGs, but it just doesn't look like it. Not sure if they just want some more alternatives to Bragg/Ahmad or if they really might still take two more frontcourt players in this class!

Four-star 2015 power forward to visit Cal, Texas and Washington

image7.jpg

Montverde Academy (Florida) power forward Noah Dickerson is hoping the third time is the charm, as previous commitments to Georgetown and Florida have not panned out.

The 6-foot-8, four-star recruit will take visits to Cal, Texas and Washington, according to Chris Hummer of 24/7Sports.com. Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv reports that he could also visit LSU.

He asked for his release from Florida after Billy Donovan left for the NBA. He originally committed to Georgetown in May 2014, but reopened his recruitment less than two months later.

Dickerson told Hummer that Washington and Shaka Smart (when he was at VCU) had both previously recruited him. Cal head coach Cuonzo Martin had not. But Martin’s incoming recruiting class headlined by five-star wing Jaylen Brown and five-star power forward Ivan Rabb, has sparked Dickerson’s interest.

Dickerson says he’d like to make a decision in the next three weeks, in order to enroll in summer courses.
