#19 Ohio State @ Xavier, November 18 @ 7:00 PM EST FS1

You need to cool off dude losses like this happen every year in basketball. To claim this team sucks without letting the season play out is a ridiculous hot take.
Dude come on. They played horrible and lost to a bad Xavier team. They should have lost to Akron. And the Niagara game wasn't easy. The only player who has shown any life is Liddell. Key, Young and Meechie (sometimes) are ok. The rest of the guys, I'll just not say anything.

Someone want to explain to me why we were playing these miserable, worthless fucks on their own court? You want to play the flagship? Well, then you do it in Columbus, and I don't give a fuck if it's football, basketball, club level hockey or fucking quidditch. You come to the flagship; the flagship does not come to you!

Teams look bad all time in preconference to turn out to be good to damn good teams. Especially teams playing a lot of new guys. So you both need lay off the hot takes

So if it makes you this fucking miserable, why watch? There are plenty of other things you could do.

I don't get why people watch things to intentionally make themselves miserable. It's illogical.

Lol, cool story. I'm glad you have confidence cause I don't. I don't see any fundamentally sound basketball out there. And that is on the coach.

I won't be surprised if this team loses to Seton Hall, Florida and Duke to enter B1G play a stellar 3-4.

If the football team had a string of games that including the football equivalent of: losing to Oral Roberts, needing a buzzer beater to beat Akron, tight game with Niagara, losing to Xavier. There would be riots in Columbus until changes are made.

If it's the basketball team the fanbase just lowers standards until they say things like "well at least we played Xavier close". Umm look at the budgets of Xavier vs. Ohio State and someone argue how we are getting our moneys worth

Agreed. I found myself getting out of sorts during the first half and decided to skip the 2nd half and watch something more cheerful instead….… apparently a bunch of Korean people dying gruesome death is somehow more cheerful than OSU basketball these days.

From the meltdowns, you!d think OSU was a 25 point favorite in this game rather than 2.5. It’s early in the season. First time on the road. Against a decent team with a fired up crowd. And it’s a long season. They didn’t look good in the first half but it sure seems like they played better in the 2nd.

If ifs and buts were hos and sluts we'd all have AIDS.

It's kind of amusing. You would like from the reactions that this program has rattled off 3 or 4 National Titles in the past 20 years and is in serious decline or something. I think it's more of people wanting something to bitch about myself...

Oh god. Turn off the computer and get a drink and do something else with your night. Remember in 2018 when we lost to both Trash Rutgers and Illinois what happened that year.

Take that inbound play at the end. It was a perfect example of what I'm talking about. you just don't have a half-assed play drawn up when you HAVE to get it in. That's as bad as letting Washington get the inbounds, dribble down the court as time runs out and bricking a three. It's just unfathomable. But, hey, crappy teams that barely beat a school that might fucking shut down and then get beaten by an unranked team like Xavier turn it around all the time.
