Re: and a whole 38 actual fans got tickets before scalpers bought the rest and put them on StubHub at 19x the original price.

A bowl game several years ago.....

Just sayin': You still need to be careful who you buy tickets from.

No Bernard Rubbles these days. If you want tix you’re paying 5x markup to Vivid Seats or Flash Seats because those companies have the APIs to get into services and buy entire sections in bulk.

It used to be fashionable to hate on Ticketmaster, but at least they never outsourced their ticketing system to high frequency brokers.

It was interesting to Urban Meyer describe the challenge that Clemson presents. His account makes them a much better team than I think most posters here believe. Their defense a challenge because they present three defensive looks and disguise switches between them well. So, it is difficult to prepare for them. He expects the offense to get quite a challenge. TSUN and Wisky showed how to contain Chase Young. Buckeyes are going to have to plan much better for that in the next two games.

I think the biggest key will be getting Justin settled in as quickly as possible. He took a while to start making his throws in the last 2 games. If we make it through the 1st quarter at least tied, I feel great about our chances. Just gotta withstand the early punches. Getting in a hole early and being forced to pass against Clemson's pass rush would be a worst-case scenario.

I have to believe we're going to be by far the best conditioned team they've seen this year. Maul them up front and keep Lawrence and their receivers on the sidelines.

On offense, we like to come to the LOS and then make a play call based upon the defensive alignment. On D, they like to do the same thing, based upon the Offensive formation. Will be interesting watching this battle play out.

The last two games the D has let two teams drive right down the field and score touchdowns. They lined up and let two middle of the road QBs get comfortable and two OLs that had to be worried about Young and the dL get tons of confidence. Lawerence and Clemson won’t need that ..they have tons of confidence and Lawerence is comfortable. We need to disrupt that early or we are in a shootout.

Young hasn't been the same since his suspension. Maybe double-teaming, maybe fatigue, maybe the qualify of the opponent, whatever. If he returns to dominant form as in games 1-9, then look out. If not, it will be a dog fight.

Of course, Meyer always describes opponents as "a very good football team, well coached," etc. Shows respect. Same with day. Neither ever shows their hand.

Well he had 3 sacks his first game back (or was it 2?) So I don't think thats entirely accurate. Ttun and the badgers just game planned very well to slow down Chase and unfortunately no one else picked up the pace.

Yes for me the defense has been a little off since we played Rutgers to be honest. Bottom line is Chase has got to be disruptive or we will probably have a hard time getting off the field.

This is what I think is maybe the most important. We need to win on first down on both sides of the ball. We need to run the ball and keep their offense off the field. The more I think about it the more I think it truly boils down to 2 things.

1. Gettin pressure on Lawrence
2. Winning first down

Winning on first down offensively and defensively. Lawerence harder to defend if it’s second and 3.

It doesn’t seem like we’ve been generating much pressure on passing downs opposite Young; the footage is out there to support he’s getting double teamed an absurd amount of the time.

Harrison hasn’t been able to do a ton albeit he’s made SOME plays: same with Smith. Cooper loss might hurt a little more than we originally gave it credit imo.
