It’s human reason to want to blame something. Many of you are still angry and reaching for explanations. But I’ve already given you the most logical explanation that many of you simply won’t accept. These are growing pains. Your team, and coach, will be better because of it.

This paragraph (or the intent therein) perplexes me.
Why are you sharing 'the most logical explanation' to an angry group of people? Is this some attempt to lend counsel? To further agitate?
While you've been measured in some of your statements, I find myself smelling whiffs of a disingenuous nature.

I'm sorry but I have to call bullshit on this guy. He's a fucking orange and purple WolvereneMike/[worst version of] Gatorubet in the middle of the Tressel ordeal. He's a troll with a Mr. Rogers smile. Never doing enough to get banned, but enjoying every minute of his schadenfreude. I ain't buying his aww shucks, you'll get it next time and the psychobabble horseshit.
As you can see, I'm inclining towards the same.

Yes, it was an attempt to lend counsel. I was attempting to help some get over the loss a little bit easier instead of continually blaming what is not to be blamed. I thought I ingenuously explained my annoyance of what many are still wrongly harping on.

I fully understand that some will never extend credence to an outsider, but those some are not my intended audience.

I’ve been nothing but polite and respectful to your team and those who provided valid, non-argumentative responses to my posts. If you’d rather me be a troll, then you’re barking up the wrong tree.

You have definitely been civil and that is appreciated, but look at the wording I've bolded. You are also walking in here and telling a whole lot of people they are absolutely wrong and leaving zero allowance for any other possibility. You can disagree without being condescending about it.

The reason we are all still pissed is bc a lot of us predicted we would somehow get screwed by this SEC crew doing our game when the assignment was announced... and sure enough, WE DID.

The process needs to be changed. As long as there are parties that are directly involved that have a stake in the outcome and stand to gain by who plays and who advances in these games, there is fair reason to believe they are corrupt.

That crew did 12 damn games together and 1 f'n play all year got overtuned by replay. 4 of them in the Buckeye game. BULLSHIT!!!

Ain't a damn soul within 500 miles of Birmingham, AL that favors OSU. Somebody needs to be held accountable for saying "Oh yeah, ball looks like it's wiggling a little". BULLSHIT. NO IT WASN'T!!!

What's pissing people off here is that you're acting like we're not giving Clemson any credit. Clemson didn't misfire as often as we did, so props to the Tigers. But it wasn't because of any difference in the level of "experience" or being gun-shy on such a national stage on our part. The only things that were really out of our control were the two officiating calls, and yet we still were almost able to overcome that...but we didn't. If fields throws the first swing pass to the right to Dobbins 12 inches to the left, touchdown...but he didn't. If Dobbins catches the subsequent swing pass to the left in a later drive, touchdown...but he didn't. If Olave doesn't break his route off, we, and not you, are going to Nawlins to play LSU...but he did. In any other game, those mistakes likely don't cost us the game.

Thank you for answering. I realize you may never come back to read this, but @Fungo Squiggly hit on what was itching at the back of my neck with what came through as condescension:

You have definitely been civil and that is appreciated, but look at the wording I've bolded. You are also walking in here and telling a whole lot of people they are absolutely wrong and leaving zero allowance for any other possibility. You can disagree without being condescending about it.

Moreover @clemsonstud05 what is it to you if there are members of this BP community that are "harping" on something that subsequently annoys you? Your feeling, quite honestly, is irrelevant.

Lastly, (and I mean this will all sincerity) I do appreciate you coming to BP, sharing your thoughts, and operating in a rather chill manner. Unfortunately, my undercurrent (and I mean that just about literally) of angst towards the Clemson program as a whole isn't with the fans as much as the coach and the shit that the athletic department pulls. Having to hear and see the shenanigans that are such second rate statements and demonstrations is ridiculous. I hear of Dabo speaking of "respect" and shit like that, and then there's a stupid-ass wanna-be relevant tombstone placed on the grounds of Clemson. Just shows how Clemson, at its heart, is a newcomer to the stage of being able to handle its success.

So, as I see what I've written, I believe that I have "ingenously explained my annoyance at what many" still probably feel towards your team and thus why there's a dismissal, distrust, and general disdain for it as a whole. It's not meant to transfer to you as an individual, but I can't help that from probably happening.
