BP will keep track of HS performances of student-athletes that tOSU is recruiting for the 2005 class. Hopefully this can be a community project. Feel free to send me a PM or add additional info below that might have been missed. I will give credit to whoever posts or sends the info first.

Entry Twelve -Week 11/5-6/04 OHIO Playoff Edition:

NY RB Jason Gwaltney N. Babylon
Gwaltney rushed for 233 yards and four touchdown on 32 carries and added two catches for 28 yards.

FL RB Maurice Wells Sandalwood
Wells carried the ball 17 times for 242 yards and three touchdowns. He surpassed the 5,000-yard mark in his high school career.

WA RB Jonathan "Snoop" Stewart Timberline
Stewart rushed for 216 yards on 11 carries in the first half alone, including scoring runs of 70, 36 and 38 yards.

He would finish the night with 241 yards and five touchdowns on 18 carries.

OH '06 RB Chris Wells Akron Garfield
Wells finished with 237 yards and two touchdowns on 22 attempts. Wells finished the season with 1,930 yards in 212 carries.

OH WR Brian Robiskie Chagrin Falls
Robiskie had two catches (33,6) and both resulted in a touchdown despite double and triple coverages most of the night.

OH LB Alex Daniels Brookhaven
After not being able to move the ball in the first half, Daniels came into the game as fullback. Daniels plays LB on defense and usually plays TE on offense. But he went in at fullback and gained 18 yards on two carries in Brookhaven's last possession of the first half.

In the second half, Daniels rushed for 78 yards on 13 carries. He also had a fumble recovery on defense.

Mabin led all ball carriers with 15 carries for 91 yards.

Ballard posted nearly 10 tackles and had three tackles for a loss. He combined with his twin brother Josh, a linebacker, and nose guard David Ghysels to anchor a tough Springboro defense.

OH RB Tyrell Sutton Hoban & DB/RB Bryan Williams Buchtel
Williams rushed for a game-high 211 yards and two touchdowns. He just came up short of tying the game with a two-point conversion.

Sutton rushed for 181 yards and four touchdowns. He scored on runs of 2, 7, 1 and 50 yards. Sutton now has 2,970 yards and 37 touchdowns this season.

OH RB/DB Ryan Brinson Canton McKinley
Brinson rushed for 135 yards on 20 carries and three touchdowns to become the all-time leading scorer in McKinley history with 300 points. He set up his first two touchdowns with returns and scored his third on an interception return. Brinson intercepted two passes.

OH DB Jamario O'Neal, LB Freddie Lenix, DE Curtis Smith, RB Tim Connor and underclassman.
Glenville was led to victory by a defense that shut out host Austintown-Fitch in the second half.
But there was concern for Freddie Lenix who collapsed on the grass face down after the game was completed.
He was placed on a backboard and stretcher, and taken in an ambulance to St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Glenville coach Ted Ginn said Lenix suffered a bruised lower back and had numbness in one of his legs, and was undergoing further tests.

Junior wideout and kick returner Raymond Fisher sparked the comeback with a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown with 26 seconds left in the first half. Arvill Nelson completed 8 of 11 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw an 8-yard TD pass to Daven Jones.
