I put him to the side, b/c I just figured they would take a pg or a combo guard.

But after thinking it over I like this pick. Brown is a tough minded kid that can really get after you on the defensive body. The thing I like about him is how thick he is. You are not going to overpower him and he will be able to use his strength to shut smaller guards down. He can also shoot the ball fairly well and he can play off the dribble. We all know he will be a fan favorite with his dunks. And most of all you have to like who his coach was. Izzo knows how to get a kid ready for the next level.

I think this is the final nail in the coffin for Murray heading out of town. There was a little talk that they might try and bring him back, but it doesnt look like it is going to happen.

Hopefully they can get a pg in the second, maybe a guy like Dee Brown or Daniel Gibson. I can't remember, but the two guards from ISU also are intriguing, if they stayed in the draft. I never heard if they did. Another guy might be Darius Washington.

As for the other pick I would love a shotblocking PF. The kid from Wyoming I really like.

I would like to see the Cavs get Dee Brown and a shooter in the second round.

I'll be absolutely shocked if a team doesn't pull the trigger on Steve Novak out of Marquette. I also really like Gansey.

I thought the Blazers had a good first round: They got players with quality character, and they understand that rebuilding sometimes means overhauling.
