2007 Army All-American Bowl

I like how Scout spoke of Brewster as a center prospect. If Brewster could play center, we could put Shugarts at guard and have Long and Adams at tackle. It's also possible to move Adams down if we can make room for Sanders. It looks like the Ohio guys did well and I want to see the highlight film on Jahmir Williams because it seems like tears the combines up.

Interesting development post the US Army AA game.

Chris Little the Scout #6 rated O-Lineman verballed during the game to FSU - who pulled his offer two days later.

Chris Little has subsequently committed to Notre Dame.

anyone know if they pulled his offer for on or off-field reasons? given the state of fsu's program it's hard for me to imagine them pulling the offer for on-field reasons(granted i haven't seen him play but he's got to be at least decent to be rated so high and get selected for the aa game). of course if he was dropped for off-field reasons, it would surprise me that nd would still take him.

Number 6 OL is way too high IMO...

There are Notre Dame fans that arent that thrilled about this...

I spoke to my ND friends last night and no one is fired up about this commit. He is a project who right now is in horrible shape (injury or not) and got beaten soundly all day during the AA game.

FSU did not pull his offer, he/mom changed there mind. I am not all excited about this after watching him get beat during the AA game. ND is loaded with young o-linemen and I would think he may end up on the d-line.

Scout $

1/17

Links to combine video of Josh Jenkins, Mike Adams, JB Shugarts, Mike Brewster, Shaq Rowell, and Zebrie Sanders.

My Take: These are clearly the cream of the crop whe it comes to lineman. All will be ranked in the top 15 in the country next year or should be IMO.

JB Shugarts: Overall I liked what I saw from him the best. He has a great base moves his feet really well and looks to be very strong. After watching film and know this video I would put him ahead of the other guys.

Josh Jenkins: I would put him second. He also had good feet. I think myself and others would love to pull him in and give him a shot at DT.

Mike Brewster: He is just a bully. He is going to need some work on his pass blocking in terms of moving laterally, but he will be fine. Reminds me of Conner Smith.

Mike Adams: He also moves very well and has a frame to add a ton of weight. He can be a leaner at times, and his base can also get to wide at times causing him to get beat, but when he locks on watch out. He is another that with coaching will be just fine. Reminds me a little of Alex Boone.

Zebrie Sanders: I also really like what I saw from him. I think he has the best lateral movement of all these guys, but he is also the smallest of the them. I am in the boat of really hoping that we offer...

Shaq Rowell: There is no doubt in my mind that he gets an offer. He carries his weight very good and has quite the quicks for a guy his size. He really destroyed Vinston Painter in one of the clips.

Vinston Painter: At this point he hasnt shown interest in us, but has been rumored to be very good. Not sure if it was my fogged S&G glasses, but think all the guys above looked better, in these short clips. I know there are no pads and all but that is JMHO.

BTW give me Shugarts, Brewster, Adams, Long, Sanders, Jenkins, and Rowell and I don't think a defender will ever touch the rb or QB for a lb will be able to get blocked with those guys in front of them...One can dream can't he.
