Theres a chance I will be doing online classes with tOSU soon.. if I end up doing so, any chance I can be lacing up my boots with you guys?

Honestly, playing is a big factor in me going back to tOSU or just doing my real estate classes at a Hondros/C State..

I know off campus students can play, but never advance to A-Side until they get on main campus, at least thats what Rooney told me a few years ago?

1. Never listen to Rooney.

2. You are always welcome to come out to practice...and if you are not eligible to help us on the A-side you can certainly get a run in with our B or C sides. We have several players at practice who are enrolled at Columbus State or OSU branches that are training with us A) until they are enrolled full-time at OSU or B) because they love rugby and just want to get a run in.

Scioto Valley always needs bodies too!

I thought about Valley, the other big problem is time. That was the original reason why I left tOSURFC.. I couldn't make the commitment with selling real estate full-time and balancing out classes in Delaware..

Does OSU Online classes make me eligible to run with the A's come game time? Even though, I've been away for a few years and desperately need to get back into shape, my obvious goal would be to play with the As at some point.

Wade, sometimes results don't indicate actual progress. What I have read this year in reports about the OSU rugby team has convinced me that next year could be a breakout year. Well done.

Second that. Every match is meaningful. Play like hell in the spring. I'm going to try, AGAIN, to get up there for the Ohio Classic. Surely, someone needs a slow, old scrumhalf that is pathologically incapable of passing the ball.

We can always find room for a scrumhalf like that. As long as aren't the same type of scrumhalf I am...I am like lightning...no two services are ever in the same place.

You guys are right...obviously I was still a little upset and I shouldn't have said we don't have any meaningful to play for. We are going to hit the weights hard this off-season and get ourselves prepared to make a run at bringing the hardware back to Columbus next Fall.

That's rich, Wes. I'm going to file that away and use it sometime, if you don't mind.

Don't think I didn't get your PM about the new team...was waiting on Rooney to get me something but he has been MIA since the end of the Fall because of back surgery. I have some stuff I am going to be sending you.

And now, a little something for the ladies...

Hey thanks for the information, but I'm not sure where I'll be going to school in the spring. Last spring I played a few games with highstreet and although the core group of guys were cool and seemed to care, it ended up being a waste of time. I'm probably gonna end up playing with Scioto but I was just curious as to when OSU actually starts practicing.

Must ... resist ... temptation ... to ... reply ... with ... just ... "in the spring"...

Spring practice doesn't actually start in the spring, it starts in the winter but its called spring practice because it is practice for the spring.:wink2:
