Anyone looking for something to do tonight, come on out to the OSURFC practice fields at King and Cannon to see our B-side play against Ashland...game starts at 6:30.

And you can mark your calendars for rain this weekend...it's the Ohio Classic.

Won an unbelievably tough game against powerhouse Western Ontario University last weekend in a driving rain storm. Final score was 13-5. The only thing I can say is we seemed to adapt our pattern to the weather and the opposition did not (at least not as much). As a staff, we were extremely pleased with the outcome given the conditions and this furthers cements the idea that we are headed back in the right direction. Next year we are expecting a couple of new players and transfers to contribute right away and we think that plus the core we have returning will get us back into the national picture.

Also, we had two players named All-Americans by a media outlet:

AmericanRugbyNews.com ARN All-Americans named

David Knab (Ohio State)

Nate Ebner (Ohio State)

Ebs is a stud - man, his nickname back on tri-village was 'skeletor' because of how skinny he was - dude is a beast now. congrats to both all-americans.

Ebs had a great first year at OSU. His focus has now turned to the inaugural IRB U-20 World Cup next month in Wales.
