The 2009 coaches preseason All-SEC team has been announced

Link

First Team Offense
TE Richard Dickson, LSU
OL Ciron Black, LSU (Unanimous)
OL Mike Johnson, Alabama
OL Mike Pouncey, Florida
OL John Jerry, Ole Miss
C Maurkice Pouncey, Florida
WR Julio Jones, Alabama (Unanimous)
WR A.J. Green, Georgia
QB Tim Tebow, Florida
RB Michael Smith, Arkansas
RB Charles Scott, LSU

First Team Defense
DL Terrence Cody, Alabama
DL Greg Hardy, Ole Miss
DL Carlos Dunlap, Florida
LB Rolando McClain, Alabama

LB Brandon Spikes, Florida
LB Rennie Curran, Georgia
LB Eric Norwood, South Carolina
DB Eric Berry, Tennessee (Unanimous)
DB Javier Arenas, Alabama
DB Trevard Lindley, Kentucky
DB Joe Haden, Florida

Florida had 8 players on the first team to lead the SEC. Alabama and LSU came in 2nd and 3rd with 6 and 3 respectively.

To no ones surprise, no Auburn players were All First-team. Including the 2nd and 3rd teams only 3 players made the list. :ohwell:

Quite a bit of controversy over Tebow not being a unanimous selection. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own players so that eliminates suspicion of Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt.

How can anyone be unanimously voted if coaches aren't allowed to vote on their own players?
