Whoa, I'm confused... I logged onto Goodell's account a few hours ago to look for the Bengals pick and I come back and we've zoomed past my pick?

Edit: Sorry I didn't PM the owner or my pick in, but I'm in the middle of writing a final and have been checking back and forth periodically.

I'll take Benn if we can't fix this, if not my pick would have been Griffen.

We're on a schedule this year. The Jets were up at 2pm - 4pm.

You can make your pick from available players as soon as your time comes up. If you won't be online during your window, send a PM to jwinslow and Roger Goodell with the choice ahead of time (if there are multiple picks before yours, send a short list numbered by preference, in case your guy gets picked by somebody).

If you're picking after somebody was skipped, don't select without checking that the person hasn't sent a PM to Roger Goodell.

Am I the only one who found it amusing/ironic that the Vikings got some payback?

ESPN.com - Slow on trigger, Vikings miss pick

Also, now that the first round is in prime time on Thursday night, can anyone else foresee Al Davis forbidding the Radiers from drafting without his approval, falling asleep before the Raiders pick, no one being able to wake him up, and the Raiders not drafting until the beginning of the 2nd round on Friday morning?

Sapp's another guy who played more as a DE in college, but projects to LB in the league. Good size and speed at 6-4, 252 with a 4.60 40. He played last year on a knee that was at about 60% strength after surgery the previous year. With Long, Suh, Lauriniaitis, and Sapp, we really feel like the front 7 should be pretty formidably a couple years down the road.

As the Vikings mock GM, I was very aware of the possible irony when I suggested the scheduled time slots.

Sorry your Jets missed out on Griffen, who doesn't fill the Vikes biggest position of need, but was simply too good to pass up.

I updated the first post with the second round as it appeared on ESPN. I don't know if there are trades in there that happened after the start of this draft or how we're going to handle that, but there it is.
