The Buckeyes will face TSUN on an outdoor rink at Cleveland's Progressive (formerly Jacbs) Field in January.

The game will be on January 15th, 2012, and is being called the Frozen Diamond Faceoff.

tOSU played Wisconsin at Lambeau Field in Green Bay back in 2006.

anyone been watching the team so far? All I have seen are the standings and it appears we are off to a solid start.

I have not due to a huge travel schedule. Today is the first chance that I've looked at the team's record. It looks like Oz has them playing tough hockey 6-3-1 overall/3-2-1 in CCHA with splits against the domers and sparty. They're getting some votes in the national polls also.

It would also seem that preseason #1 Fredo of Ohio has crapped the fucking bed. Unranked and getting fewer poll votes than THEE Ohio State University. It'd be nice if we could pound the nail in their coffin in December.

Swept Northern Michigan by a pair of 4-1 scores and now tied atop the CCHA (for the first time in god knows how many years) with a 5-2-1 record.

Rough stretch coming up with LSSU (tied for 1st with us), Michigan (away and ranked #4, but just were swept by the Hawktards) and Fredo (home and [Mark May]hole) coming up.

Buckeyes complete the sweep of #11 LSSU. I believe that's 9 wins in a row. Domers lose, so Ohio State is now alone in first place by a margin of 5 points over ND.

Next up is #18 (and soon to be unranked after getting swept by Northern Michigan) college hockey's "new dynasty" Fredo of Ohio.
