Florida sucks
Well, we lost John Barbato to the Padres in the sixth-round, that is true.

But first-rounder Karsten Whitson stayed. Zack Powers decided 28th round money was worth foregoing. As to pitching, we added to the pitching staff when Daniel Gibson (26th) and Keenan Kish (34th round) stayed.

While the Tigers did not have a Brody Colvin surprise this year, you did lose Zach Lee to the Show - and Lucas LeBlanc on deadline day. You Also lost Garin Cecchini.

Even better, you no longer have experienced ballers like Anthony Ranaudo, Austin Ross, Micah Gibbs, Leon Landry and Blake Dean to give us fits :paranoid:

So suck it Nutria.

Like to. You going? I'd like to buy a beer or two and see them play. Tickets. How much of a bitch are they to get for a Florida series?

too far out to know for sure, but i'm gonna try.
tickets can usually be had through LSUmarketplace.
might be shit seats or SRO, but you can usually find some.

From Rivals

Florida
The Gators were bummed when sixth-rounder John Barbato signed with the Padres, but they escaped the draft in fantastic shape. UF was ecstatic with first-rounder Karsten Whitson?s decision to attend college. The Gators also added to their already talent-rich pitching staff with the additions of 26th-rounder Daniel Gibson and 34th-rounder Keenan Kish. UF also welcomes shortstop Zack Powers, who was drafted in the 28th round. UF coach Kevin O?Sullivan is doing an extraordinary job of attracting premier talent to Gainesville, Fla. It?s an understatement to say the Gators are setting the stage for a bright future.

Finished the sweep of USF with a 5-0 victory. Gator pitchers finished the three games with a combined era of 1.0, w/ 31 strike outs and 2 walks. First shutout of USF since 1987.

Not LSU standards, unfortuantely, but we had an attendence of slightly over 14 thousand for the three game series.

don't feel bad about that.
LSU is a rarity in college baseball.

just under 34,000 tickets were sold this past weekend, with an actual attendance of just over 25,000.
