I feel very sorry for McIlroy. He has this capacity to get rattled and/or to take unnecessary chances. To start with a four stroke lead and lose by ten, well, that is just a sad thing to see, I think.

It could have been worse, remember anyone else remember Jean Van de Velde?

He was the guy that blew the 3 stroke lead on the last hole of the 1999 British Open.

From watching quite a bit from the last two days, it appears Tiger went from being the greatest clutch putter ever, to being very average,

Did you look at his facial expressions in the post-round interview. He actually looked to be afraid of being interviewed. He got a LOT of support from the galleries, more than anyone else, but doesn't intimidate the top young dogs like he once did.

On the other hand, wasn't it McIlroy who said.... :)

Poor Rory. You could see him on the 10th green just crouched down in disbelief. It had to have an affect on Cabrera as well. Angel should have just bummed him a cigarette and bought him a shot of Johnny Walker blue.

As impressive as Tiger's front 9 was, his back 9 demonstrated why he's just another great player right now. He couldn't make a putt to save his life, while Charl made everything. Tiger used to be The Best. Now he's just "one of the best." Doesn't bode well for his chances of ever reaching 18.

I was disappointed there wasn't a playoff. Yesterday was so much fun, I wanted more. But give credit to Schwartzel. Four straight birdies... on Sunday... at the Masters... holes 15-18?? He deserved it.

+ a million. Holing out earlier with mid iron or not, it ain't luck when you finish the way he did with the world watching and the tournament loss is only one bad swing away. He earned that green jacket.
