Just couldn't sustain an attack in the second half...you can watch the replay on Ustream or once we get it uploaded to our site I will send out the link. Tough loss...

Just to ask: were the referees good/fair? In particular, I think they blew the call with the pass that would have put the Buckeyes in the lead.

The head ref was very good, although I penalty count was a little lopsided at the break (11-2 against us I believe). He got zero help from the touch judges...ZERO. I will be watching the film tonight as I needed a day to decompress after the loss so I will let you know how I feel about that forward pass then. Cheers!

15 hours there on Friday...15 hours back yesterday...got back at 4:30AM this morning. Don't even ask me why I'm up.

Bad News: can't seem to put 80 minutes together...got out-athleted by Dartmouth...our decision makers are young...our tight five is young...our deep three is young

Good News: we got a huge donation from within the university yesterday which will ensure we have the money to participate in the sevens event in Philly...we have a commitment from Nate for the sevens this year and possibly the 15s season next spring...our decision makers are young...our tight five is young...our deep three is young

Lot of rugby this weekend...The Ohio Classic is going on at Berliner all weekend. And we have our final Collegiate Preimer Division match Saturday night at 7:30PM at Beekman Park against Rutgers.

The game will be streamed live on the web:

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ohio-state-rugby

And make sure you are following the team on Twitter (@OSUrugby) and on Facebook (search OSURFC) for all the latest news as we wrap up the CPD season and begin training for the USA Sevens Collegiate Rugby Championship, June 4-5 in Philly live on NBC and Versus.

And we might have another new sevens player courtesy of the football team...a well-known name...we'll see if he makes an appearance at practice tonight.

Sevens practice is in full swing...entire team did at least an 11 on the first beep test last week and we expect everyone to be at a 12-5 if not a 13 by the tournament. 12 man roster has to be submitted on Friday...few spots still up for grabs, especially on the wing. Ebner has been Ebner and Georgiades is coming on strong. Our 15's inside center looks like he could be our starting loosehead while our 15's captain and #8 will likely move to scrumhalf in sevens.

Between a crazy work schedule this month and the mount of time we are training for this tournament, I won't be on BP as much as normal or as I would like...but guys like grad and MD Buckeye are doing a great job keeping things going in the recruiting forum. After June 4-5 weekend I finally have a little break from rugby and things should cool down at work.

In case you didn't see the draw for the sevens tournament, we are in a pool with Cal, LSU and PSU. Two very winnable games and one game that is going to be tough but I think we can shock the world.

Remember, you can find all things OSU Rugby on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/OSURugby) and Twitter (@OSURugby)
