Oh yes. This will end splendidly.

In case you don't know the story, the Sox announced last Wednesday that Josh would miss his Saturday start due to "lat stiffness". A story broke yesterday that he spent last Thursday golfing.

Uh, you mean 18 days other than November-February?

Oh, wait........I apologize........you had October off last year, too.

He's not in the right by any stretch of the imagination, but give him credit for looking the fans right in the eye and not blinking.

Actually, he is well within his rights, but he's going about it in a stupid way, just like the beer and chicken thing last season.

I'd imagine that clubhouse is tons of fun right now with Bobby Valentine as the manager

Oh, and he's a starting pitcher... so, yeah, he doesn't play, you know, every day.

I'm sure there are a few pitchers in the Sox farm system that would love the opportunity and good pitch better than he is right now. Trade his ass.

The market is starving for $16 million over-the-hill starters with ERAs nearing 6.00, no dedication, and serious attitude problems. Teams will be lining up to offer top prospects for Beckett.
