2013 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

Their little charade of a performance merely reflects how classless the program has become under Hoke. They have been delusional for a number of years but now you can add classless to their resume.

This had nothing to do with Hoke.
  1. He doesn't direct the band.
  2. The only thing that can inspire an "OH NO!" from him is when they run out of riblets and flank steak at Golden Corral.

They're reminding me more and more of the annoying crap that IU and PU partake in where almost every single chant in any sport, whether they're playing each other or not, ends with "Screw ("fuck" if near students or fans that don't care) IU/Purdue. When I went to watch the OSU/Purdue B1G basketball champ game a few years ago the thing that I remember the most was that every single chant or pep band-led cheer was focused on said other school, even though they were playing OSU. It was ridiculously annoying and screamed petty, little brother antics. Yeah, we like to sing "We Don't Give a Damn" every now and then, but they're not the focus of cheers/chants outside of Mich*g*n Week and The Game.

Congrats scUM, you're officially at the emotional level of IU/Purdue and Sparty.

I still think it is a reflection of the direction the school has taken under his leadership. If you do not think that the band took it's cue from him then we will have to agree to disagree.

Last year during the Nebraska game TBDBITL did their famed Video Game Tribute show which included a Michigan flag atop the SMB flagpole, and for the Purdue game the halftime show was the The End of the World theme, where martians from Michigan abducted an Ohio State cheerleader in an attempt to return her to the 90s when their football team was good.

Glass houses and such, people ...

How did they recreate the 1890s?
