2014 TSUN Shenanigans and Arguments

Love this article by a tsun alum:

Shane Morris was carted off the field at the end of a game with a leg injury. In a statement, Hoke said that he was removed for aggravating an injury he'd suffered earlier (raising the question: "if he was so badly injured, WHY DID YOU PUT HIM BACK IN THE FUCKING GAME?"). Michigan apparently considered this conversation regarding the treatment of Shane Morris to be over (until Hoke's Monday press conference disaster)...
Hoke says he didn't see Morris look wobbly, making him Mr. Magoo's moronic football coach cousin.

...I'm angry that I let down these players by supporting a coach who puts them in dangerous positions because I love an idea of Michigan that likely never really existed, because of course you can be the winningest program in college football history when you beat the shit out of everyone around the time Calvin Coolidge was in office.

...I do know that I cannot continue to partake in Michigan football until something changes. I do know that I believe in, like, four things, and chief among them is "avoid being morally shitty." To support Hoke right now would violate that standard. I do know that Michigan and its fans and, more importantly, its players deserve better than this.

Go Blue forever. But not like this.

You'd have to be insane to leave either of those for this dumpster fire for anything short of Saban-esque silly money though... and I have a feeling Nike would match if pressed.
scUM isn't Texas with a fertile recruiting backyard either. You know you're going to have to go to Urban's backyard for a large chunk, fight with Brian Kelly and Urban for another large chunk, and then go national. Whereas Oregon is currently in the situation of profiting from USC's own implosion and fighting with not-as-sexy UCLA and Stanford that may (or may not?) have higher education requirements.

I know we're mainly joking here, but David Shaw could be a good hire. I'm not sure if he would leave though unless you throw major cash. Same with Oregon's coach.

Doubt he'd leave no matter how much cash. He's a Stanford alum, so other than the NFL it's probably his dream job.

If we're being realistic, scUM's best move would be to take a page out of the SEC handbook, go all zero-fucks-given and hire a controversial NFL castoff like Greg Schiano.

Didn't Schiano tell them to fuck off last time?

Our buddy John Benke makes an appearance

Jon Benke said:
Seriously, way to take an honest post and twist it to be whatever your little mind wants it to be .. every fan base has their idiots and their classy people, and, well, for the buckeyes, it's pretty clear what side you belong on. Take care, and get ready for another ten year war, cause besides Michigan and Ohio State, no one worth a damn is recruiting in the Big Ten, and the winner every year will play for Rose Bowls and National Championships .. it's going to be one hell of a ride:biggrin:

This is the backlash after I called him out for saying that SCum is going to land Berger b/c we didn't give Berger enough attention....

maybe they can hire Gene Chizik to buy them a national title

Chizik would never let his daughter date a Michigan Man.
