Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

I would legitimately cheer for any team playing Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin. The fact that it's the Buckeyes that get them makes me ecstatic.

You couldn't write a better storyline than Urban Meyer vs these two fucks with the history they have.

Well, I. WAS. WRONG. We weren't the last 1-loss team in. That being said.

I'm not going to downplay the opportunity here.

We have the opportunity to beat the perceived kings of college football.

Then if we do we have the opportunity to knock off the defending champs or the Heisman trophy winner.

If we can pull that off with the talent we have returning?

That's how you start a new Era.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Bama is a terrific team. In particular, I was wondering about their OL. It seems to me that they are good, but not 2009 good. What do your guys think about their OL vs. our DL matchup?

... I'm no more impressed with Bama this year than I have been with Michigan State. I think they're very similar teams in terms of strengths and weaknesses.
Amari Cooper ain't walking onto the field dressed in Sparty green.

With that said, if we play another game at the same level as the Wiscy dismantling, there's no one in the country who could beat us.

Unfortunately, Alabama, Oregon, and Florida St have better QB options than Stave and McEvoy.
