CFB Weekly Thread 2017 CFB Week 12 Open Thread

Temple seems to get somebody every year at their place. Dreary as city just sucks the life out of people I guess

Sharing a city and stadium with an NFL team is a challenge. Pitt moved to Heinz Field and it sucked the life (what was left of it after 72-0) out of their program. When they played on campus they at least had an atmosphere, and the occasional top team.

Have to laugh at all the [Mark May] Wiscy is getting for their schedule and playing BYU....meanwhile we have Bama playing Mercer, Clemson playing the Citadel and Auburn play LA Monroe....:roll1:
it's still a reasonable point because the comparisons should be about which non-conference teams played... not about when they're played. over the last decade, all wisconsin has played is lsu twice and bama once. the remaining seasons were very poor. when byu, arizona state, northern illinois, and oregon state are your marquee non-conference games, that is pathetic for a program like wisconsin. bama, clemson, and auburn, on the other hand, schedule a "name" non-conference opponent pretty much every season. they just play one of their patsies late rather than early.
