OHIO STATE RELEASES 2017 HOME TICKET PRICES

As Tom Knox of Columbus Business First first reported, Ohio State released its 2017 home ticket prices Monday morning. Ohio State won't host Michigan next year, but the university will receive its gold bricks nonetheless.

Along the premium pricing guidelines set in 2013, the price of a 2017 Oklahoma–Ohio State game ($190) will cost just $5 less than a 2016 ticket to Michigan–Ohio State.

It will also cost $190 to see Michigan State's first trip to the Shoe since 2015.

The price on season tickets is going up, too, from $614 to $695. Faculty and staff tickets receive a discount at $652.

Student prices will remain at $34 a game ($238 for season tickets).

For renewing season ticket holders, the seats selected during the online selection process in 2016 will be guaranteed through the 2019 season, as long as they are renewed each season. During each season within that four year period, you will have the opportunity to utilize the online system and select different seats if desired, based both upon your priority points for that season and available seating inventory. If you wish to maintain the seats you selected in 2016, you do not need to select new seats in 2017.

Every renewing season ticket holder will still be assigned a seat selection window, which will be communicated in late March, to browse available inventory and select new seats, if desired.

Apparently the "bad weather" forecast is driving down ticket prices for the Illinois game:

Saturday marks Senior Day at Ohio Stadium, an opportunity to send J.T. Barrett, Jamarco Jones, Billy Price and the rest of the Buckeyes out in style as they play their final game in Ohio Stadium. It will be an emotional day and Illinois is very bad at football, so there's that, too.

Luckily, 444 SEAT, the Official Travel and Hospitality Partner of Eleven Warriors, has seats for 3:30 p.m. kickoff with Illinois starting at just $43 – well below face value. Tailgate and hospitality packages for the game are sold out, but you can still grab a ticket, head to any of the hundreds of tailgates around the Shoe and salute the gentlemen who have given so much to this football program.
