2018 Week 10 CFB Open Thread

Georgia will probably win this game, but they won’t blow Kentucky out as it’s not how Georgia is built. They aren’t built to amass points easily. They’re more of a grind it out type team.

That being said, Kentucky will lose this game and find a way to gain spots in the polls because of a gutsy, hard fought performance. Because SEC.

*In no way, shape or form, does this post have anything to do with Ohio State and where they are ranked currently (as I don’t give a shit. They aren’t a playoff team). So please, don’t find a way to involve Ohio State in my opinion above. Thank you.

Actually, I think @Bucklion wanted to have a word with you about Minnesota-Illinois.

Mhmm. @ 1:26

Patterson is about every bit as slow footed laterally yet scUM just forced State Penn to collapse so hard on the interior gaps runs Shea nearly walked it in. Point being one team is developing the attitude to impose their will on the ground, most especially in the redzone. And it sure as hell ain't us.

Wait, you're posting this as evidence of him having lateral speed? That was a heavy footed 3 seconds to run 10 yds.

I agree that OSU uses him poorly when they don't respect his feet. I disagree strongly that he's a similar athlete to Patterson.

Also, I do enjoy that nobody watched Michigan's running game before the roughing the snapper penalty. They were just as bad as OSU to that point.

They have more rushing yards before halftime than the Bucks had the entire game vs the Pedsters.

Speed? No. Ability? Yes. Let me be clear, Haskins isn't Michael Vick. He isn't even Troy Smith - but when you you threaten the interior on the IZ runs that this team can and should be grinding out, then just about any D1 athlete not playing along the line should be able to carry the ball at least a couple times just to give the defense a wrinkle to consider.

Georgia tries running a read option with their pocket passer, and the results were less than favorable... Surprised?
