Methinks that OSU defense might just be better than people think. There is a lot of individual talent in college football that can put up huge numbers.

The Tulane defense actually has done fairly decent this year. 23 to wake, 17 to Nichols, 31 to UAB and now 24 to memphis. Giving up about 24 a game outside of our game which isnt great but its respectable.

If their offense is better they beat Wake in OT and also beat UAB. Not a bad team and IMO would torch Rutgers.

Fluke game/freshman QB/forgot to play Clemson (tm) football.....all will be used to give them the mulligan even if they do lose to Syracuse.

That will also give the powers that be enough time to work Miami up the polls to make it look like Clemson played someone by the end of the year.
