Undefeated ND is getting in. Undefeated or one loss Alabama is getting in. Undefeated Clemson is getting in. If Georgia's only loss is to Alabama...that's four.
Some people here should stop assuming a bid and rooting for revenge match ups and start rooting for those teams to lose.

1 loss UGA isn't getting in over undefeated Ohio State. Hard to see Clemson getting in over Ohio State too

I’ll be thoroughly impressed if Georgia makes it to the end of November with only one loss. Their offense isn’t exactly setting the world ablaze. I can easily see them stumbling up against one of their next 4 opponents. The next issue is, once they lose, the team that beats them takes their place. The circle of media hype continues.

Hard for you and I to see, but we aren't on the committee. If Georgia's only loss is to unbeaten Alabama 27-23 in the SEC title game, they have a very good chance because SEC. If Clemson is undefeated, you're kidding yourself if you believe OSU's recent performances vs the Tigers won't matter. Then there's ND, who are a lead pipe lock for a bid at 12-0.
That's four teams, and no OSU. Some of those other clowns losing would improve our chances.

I HIGHLY doubt they’d hold Ohio State’s recent performances against Clemson in year’s past against them this year. That would come across as an extremely petty reason for holding a team out.
