2019-20 Bowl games (non-CFP) thread

The B1G needs some sustained success against the SEC in order to change the narrative. If Michigan and Minnesota both lose and you don't care then don't ever complain about the narrative.
If we are waiting for the Big 10 to catch up ..we might as well play in the SEC for football. Big 10 never catching up this next decade. Unless we give up our backups to the Big 10.

The narrative isn't built on reality.

I understand wanting to have reality on your side. I'm just not sure how much it matters. The B10 went 7-1 year or 2 ago. Nothing changed. If anything, the SEC and Clemson narrative have strengthened.

Every B1G team could beat every SEC 100-0.

On field results will never change the ESPN/SEC/CFP narrative.
We've already seen exactly that twice. Was it two years ago the B1G went 7-1 in bowls? 2014 saw big bowl wins for the conference also when the Bucks won the title, Wisky beat Auburn, Sparty beat Baylor and other conference teams held their own. The following fall, the narrative was nothing but OMZG SEC SEC SEC !!!11!1!
Fuck ESecPN, Fuck the Mouse and Fuck scUM.

hope ttun loses by under 4 points, which is the difference between the roughing-the-quarterback penalty on 3rd down that immediately led to a bama touchdown and what would have been a field goal. i'm all out of fucks to give since dfbia hasn't taken osu's side on the wade call/ejection. pretty much the same call in both games, except the ttun player wasn't ejected.
